Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser:
Her eyes widened and she struggled. I leaned on the joint a little more, and it stopped her moving. I couldn’t grow claws and discipline her like a real queen, but I could do something most dominants couldn’t do. It was a rarer gift, and depending on how you did it, it hurt more.
– Bullet by Laurell K. Hamilton
WOW that sounds very interesting!!! I’m gonna have to check this one out!
That’s fantastic!
kinda sounds kinky lol.
This series can get kinky, yeah, but I don’t think this is one of the kinkier scenes. 😉
That rocks! Nice Teaser!!

Thanks Greta
I was just gonna guess that someone is a were-something then I saw in the tags it said weretiger, lol.
lol yeah. this series has everything – vampires, werewolves, wearats, wereleopards, werelions, weretigers!
Haha, sounds like a good book!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! :]
NoraBell, The Bookery
I think it is! Thanks.
Nice teaser. I haven’t read an Anita Blake novel in ages I lost interest around book 12. Maybe one day I will pick it back up.

I almost didn’t even pick this one up and than later put it down for months. The last book almost made me give up on the whole series. But the new AB is coming out soon so . . . This series is a little like watching a train wreck. Don’t want to look, but can’t really look away either.
I haven’t got this far in the series, but looking forward to it when I do!
The early books are better, but they are all pretty compelling. Enjoy!
Ooh, sounds painful! Thanks for stopping by!
probably is. I wouldn’t want to be her! thanks lisa!
Oh yeah, Anita! LOVE this series and an awesome teaser for sure. Are you enjoying it? I really did.
Here’s my teaser for the week!
Rebecca @ kindle fever
I am! Took a few false starts to get started, but ye ah, I am enjoying it
Dang. It’s been ages since I read anything by Laurell K. Hamilton but now I’m definitely intrigued!
Yah! Excellent! 😉
Now that is a tease, I need more information. My TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/05/book-review-the-fifth-witness-by-michael-connelly.html
Sorry, the correct link to my TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/05/teaser-tuesdays-22-britannia-road.html
I responded! It’s a good teaser. Kinda sad, though.
I haven’t been able to get into her books. I don’t know what it is…. I read the first book but like the Sookie books better!!
Guilty Pleasures? Really. Wow. I read the first book in high school and devoured all the rest in about a week.
This really makes me curious about where this series is at right now. I stopped reading at book #8 just to take a break from it. But I’m curious now! 🙂 Great teaser!
Thanks for stopping by my teaser too! 🙂
Blue Moon was book number 8 wasn’t it? AB, JC & RAZ bonded and AB gained a lot of vampire powers, including the ardour. It’s been pretty interesting.
Thanks for dropping by my blog, I appreciate it! I haven’t read any of Hamilton’s books, I know they are quite popular, so I will eventually get around to them I’m sure. That sounds like an intense scene!
April @ My Shelf Confessions
Very popular. If you ever get around to it, you should start with the first one: Guilty Pleasures
Laurel is one of my fav authors, but I’m a bit behind in the anita blake series, so haven’t got to this book yet. Great teaser.
Thanks for popping over to my blog.
How far behind? This one isn’t bad and the next one is coming out in handful of weeks.
very intriguing teaser. Almost makes me want to try another Anita Blake book, but I’ve given up on this series.
That’s too bad! Hope you enjoy whoever you replaced Anita Blake series with.!
