Ten of the zippiest last lines you will ever read! They are all from my favorite books. The Black Jewels trilogy, some from the Vor books by Lois McMaster Bujold and some books by Joey W. Hill. I have read all of these again and again and again.

I haven’t read those books but I like the 4th last line. It kinda shows some promise or possibility of what lies ahead. Now, that 6th one….I find it to be a bit creepy.

2 and 3 are my favourite. I’ve read a couple of books with some great last lines, but can’t remember them off the top of my head.

Great closing for the April Challenge–very appropriate.
I can barely remember books let along individual lines. Just because I’ve just finished it and it’s here beside me I’ll use the last lines from John Christopher’s Pendulum:
“We don’t even know whose it is–whether it’s a child of love or hate.”
His hand stayed on her body, strong and comforting.
“Of love,” he said. “There’s no doubt about that.”
