Succinctly Yours is a weekly meme by grandma. Of this meme she says:
How low can you go?
Use the photo as inspiration for a story of 140 characters OR 140 words. It doesn’t have to be exactly 140, just not more. This one is 140 characters.
Al’s shriek pierced her eardrums. Bo and Cy screamed over the plush bear. Eve dropped a spoon. Why did she have quadruplets? One was enough.
Perish the thought! One at a time is bad enough ^__^ Good take on the photo!
Thanks Helen!
That’s serious! Funny for a short-story though.
Thanks Seasons!
Well, a plush bear is so worth the turmoil, isn’t it? Cute story!
Yep, absolutely!
WOW! I can’t even imagine how many diapers that adds up to be! (Gives a whole new meanining to “fill ‘er up!” when the tykes are playing gas staion. LOL!)
BY THE BY: Linky is shunning me again this week (<–RATS! because it has me unsuccessfully jumping through glitchy technical hoops just about every week!), so until Grandma or Calico are able to add me to the participation list, here's my link to this week's entry. Please stop by? Thanks! SF~~~~~*

I can’t imagine! A whole garbage bag’s worth, I should think.
Sonia, I love the quadruplets idea. 🙂 I will say that Al is the one who has to ride the hand-me-down three wheeler. His complaining isn’t getting him much, is it?
lol no, it’s not. poor kid.
I never envied any of those mothers with multiples-multiple blessings and headaches! Good one…
Me either! I think that’s too many kids.
Oh my gosh! Quints! I don’t think I could handle it. One of my pals has six kids and I think she’s amazing. I have 3 and that’s plenty.
6 children is a lot!!!!!
I feel the headache!
Me too. Or maybe that was the headache I had when I was writing that.
Very cute.
Thanks Alica.
Good one, Sonia! I don’t know how mothers of multiples keep their sanity. But then I think of my mom who had 4 kids in 4 1/2 years and she was a saint!
that’s, wow, that many toddlers in one place – I would run screaming
I know how she feels, and I only have one!
one is a good number!
Ah foursome trouble in small packages…enjoyable MF
Thanks Rekha!
Oh my goodness. For some reason, the toy on the left didn’t appear in the photo as I received it, so I might have thought of triplets, but quadruplets would be even more exhausting for the mother. She’s so brave!

I saw, your pic is cropped somehow. I didn’t even know that possible.
I have a cousin who has twins and they make her so tired and exhausted. I can’t imagine someone having four. 🙂
Is quadruplets a choice? I demand to review ballots.
If it isn’t, it should be!
(Plus, if you use fertility treatments, lots of times you end up giving birth to more than one baby. Which is a choice of sorts.)
Hi there Sonia – I can see a fight over who is left using the trike. Or maybe, they’ll all want to use the trike. That one second on the left looks like you could do the whole drive up the ramp and into the back from Night Rider.
Good story — fits the pic well 😉

I can see it, too. Kids, they fight over almost everything. Thanks Stephen!
Some days, even one can be too many. Four makes the poor girl a candidate for sainthood!
Yeah, even one is exhausting to have.
