Succinctly Yours: Parade

Succinctly Yours is a weekly meme by grandma. Of this meme she says:

How low can you go?

Use the photo as inspiration for a story of 140 characters OR 140 words. It doesn’t have to be exactly 140, just not more. This one is 136 characters.

I waved to the crowd and pretended not to see the clown next to me. Really, some people! This was a transvestite parade, not the circus.

  1. Oh, I love it. Excellent take on the prompt.
(But maybe the clown is a woman in drag?)

  2. Why is it that most transvestite parades end up having a circus atmosphere?
We attended the Greenwich Village (NYC) parade in 2003. I still smile. 🙂 There were no motorized floats and lots of walking clowns.
