Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I teased this book last time, but I am still reading it, so here we go again. I didn’t finish because, well, because various other books got in the way.
She watched him walk away, and felt the mingled urge to burst into tears and to run after him for the express purpose of kicking him in the ankle. Knowing either action would fill him with satisfaction, she did neither, but went warily into the bedroom.

I listened to this book in audio book format but the reader was terrible which made me not like the book as much. I think if I would have read it I would have loved it! Great teaser though 🙂
Crystal @ Elegantly Bound Books
I have never been able to focus on audio books, but I imagine the reader and the reader’s voice would make a huge difference.
Thanks for sharing this great teaser.

Kicking the door shut? Ah, displacement anger!
I don’t think she did that, but maybe she should have.
