Changing Zodiac Sign

The Minnesota Astronomical Society have taken it upon themselves to change the zodiac signs. Why, I don’t understand. Something to do with the moon. It was based on the sun, the moon and the movement of the planets, but they haven’t changed all that much in centuries. Even if they have, that is no reason to change it!

How can someone  just up and change the zodiac signs? Why would someone – anyone!!! – be inspired to meddle with the zodiac sign? I don’t get it.

If I follow this change – and I have no intention of doing so! – I am no longer a Gemini, but a Taurus. They also invented a whole new sign.  How crazy is that?

Someone is proposing these changes:

Capricorn: January 20 to February 16
Aquarius: February 16 to March 11
Pisces: March 11 to April 18
Aries: April 18 to May 13
Taurus: May 13 to June 21
Gemini: June 21 to July 20
Cancer: July 20 to August 10
Leo: August 10 to September 16
Virgo: September 16 to October 30
Libra: October 30 to November 23
Scorpio: November 23 to November 29
Ophiuchus: November 29 to December 17
Sagittarius: December 17 to January 20

  1. So that’s what that Yahoo tag line was about. I kept ignoring it.
They can keep it. I’m an Aquarius. I’m staying an Aquarius. *hurumph hurumph hurumph*

  2. I saw this and thought it was ridiculous! My star sign is Scorpio – which has suddenly been reduced to only six days – and I refuse to change that. I love my star sign. It matches me PERFECTLY. You’re completely right, I have no idea how they can justify it. In my opinion, I’m a Scorpio, and it’s staying that way.

Say something and make my day!
